InPixio Photo Studio 10 is, in actuality, three different programs: Photo Eraser, Photo Cutter, and Photo Editor. Users might find this an impediment to workflow, but it is overshadowed by the value of the product.

With Photo Eraser, you can crop images to different ratio sizes. Selection brushes allow you to paint the selection area onto an image, whereas Rectangle selection allows you to place a rectangle of adjustable size onto the image.

Photo Eraser also includes the correction patch tab, allowing users to remove an object and then patch the background back in, even when tricky to replicate. Users are also able to use a simple cloning brush and are able to adjust size and hardness with adjustment sliders.

Photo Cutter allows users to cut the background out of any image they want. Users can achieve this by tracing a line on the part of the image they want to cut out--and the program does the rest. It's a simple function that has only one purpose. Although it’s fairly easy to use, the program struggles to differentiate when there isn’t much of a contrast between the background and the subject.

Finally, the Photo Editor program allows users to deftly apply presets, make adjustments, and add effects, layers and textures to their images. There are myriad different frames and textures that can be applied to images to help you get your photo to its fully edited potential.

Ultimately, inPixio is well designed, easy to use and simple to navigate. It’s an extremely well-rounded program that is a great value at $99. Even though inPixio is a great editing tool for beginners and novices, the lack of advanced editing tools make this a photo editing program only for beginners.
