Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a multiplayer first-person action game created by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. In CS GO, you can pick between playing a Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist. All players are entrusted with disposing of rival players while likewise finishing their group's goals. Terrorists will either plant bombs or hold down prisoners while Counter-Terrorists must prevent the plants from being planted, defuse the bomb, or salvage the prisoners.
What is the point of CS GO?
The basic idea of CS Go is two teams - terrorists and counter-terrorists - fight one another in a variety of maps, with a secondary objective, such as hostage rescue. There are classic game modes, where you fight in rounds of short games. Death is permanent in each game, so if you die, you sit out until the next game. There is no XP (experience points) upgrading like in Battlefield etc, making this a purely skill-based game.
