Start up PureVPN and it immediately looks a bit different than other VPN services, as you are presented with five selections to begin your anonymized browsing experience: Stream, Internet Freedom, Security/Privacy, File Sharing and Dedicated IP. Choosing your preferred path allows PureVPN to optimize its settings for your activity. Choose "Stream," for example, and the service will prioritize speed over safety, while "Security/Privacy" will do the opposite. And about those charges. PureVPN is a bit on the pricey side as it only offers a maximum of a one-year plan. While this brings the effective monthly price down a bit, it still comes in on the high side. By offering longer commitment periods, other VPN services on this list do better at getting the effective monthly rate significantly lower. Still, if you want every feature imaginable in a top VPN provider, you can't do much better than PureVPN.
